Thank You, Waterford Lions Club! Vision Screening Equipment for Changing A Destiny Academy

I want to brag about our Waterford Lions Club and our very own Lion, Jenifer Loew!
God continues to open doors for Changing A Destiny, and today I want to share one of those blessings!
A few years ago, Jenifer Loew joined the Waterford Lions Club on behalf of Changing A Destiny. Her membership has opened doors and created wonderful connections within our community!
The Waterford Lions Club has been so supportive of Changing A Destiny! Last year, they gave me the opportunity to share a presentation about Changing A Destiny and how we serve local and international families. They have also welcomed us to participate in their recycling day, allowing us to collect shoes through our shoe drive bin.
And now, another amazing blessing!
The Waterford Lions Club has provided Changing A Destiny Academy in Kenya with a vision screening camera along with an instant prescription printer and paper.
In January, we will take this equipment to Kenya to help provide vision screenings for the children and staff at Changing A Destiny Academy!
Tonight, Monica, a nurse who will be traveling with us to Kenya, and I attended a training class to learn how to use the equipment. We will then teach our medical staff in Kenya how to perform vision screenings for our students and staff.
What an incredible blessing this will be for our school!

Sometimes God uses the connections we make right in our own community to bless people thousands of miles away. This is such a beautiful example of that!
Changing A Destiny isn't just about changing lives in Kenya. It's about bringing people together to make a difference, one connection and one blessing at a time!
